you say touche i say touch...

on days when i miraculously don't have uber dark circles under my eyes i like to use something a little lighter than my makeup forev concealer.  i used to use touche eclat by yves st laurent (still a great product), but i recently discovered VIP Touch Expert Advanced BY TERRY.  i had never used any of the BY TERRY products before - apparently Terry was the pioneer of the original touche eclat - her new formula is very similar however it has a wee bit more coverage, and it lasts much longer!  i'm so unbelievably happy with it!  I see the light Ter girl - you done real good!

i've said this before... i don't typically wear eyeshadow BUT i'm really feelin the new fall trend - COPPER EYES!  i like the idea of wearing lots of copper shadow with not much else on yer face... no lipstick (maybe a wee bit of a light lipstain - coralish), no blush, and maybe only a reals little bit of mascara.  checky these looks (please ignore doo on 2nd chica - it's terribles):

okay...sometimes apples (memba when i recommended apples for dark circles & puffs - http://makemeprettymel.blogspot.com/2010/09/even-puff-daddy-doesnt-like-his-name.html) just don't cut it when i have giant pillows under my eyes... so i've been using clarins eye contour gel.  i have to say - it WORKS!  i keep it in the fridge and in the mornings when my eyes are super tired i put the cold gel all around the eye area and in minutes i feel like the puffiness is outta.

why oh why did i buy this stuff?  Conceal FX: Camouflage Concealer was supposed to be all the rage...and of course i'm a sucka, but why buy it when i love my current makeup forever concealer?  anyhoo, this conceal fx shite is terrible.  it's watery, and it leaves an uneven tone under the eye.  i highly advice against it.  don't waste your moola.  poooo!

i'm not a huge fan of eye shadow... i espesh hate when it gets all creasey and shite...that's why i'm lovin urban decay's eyeshadow primer... i use it sans shadow.  it smooths the upper lid, and brings brightness to tired eyes.  it has a slight gold tint - tho not in a glitter-shimmer way (which is a good thing for daytime use).  the ud primer lasts all day and never looks cakey.

ok maybe i'm just a little (r)obsessed with PTR (peter thomas roth), but after 2 days of using Lashes to Die For...i'm convinced that this mascara trumps all others.  i've used all the top notch scaras, and my recent stint with dior show is officially over.
something about the texture and the wand create the most lifted, separated, and long lashes i've ever had.  an added bonus...this scara eliminates all these icky things:

- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan
